PERN Legal and Info is a Cumbria-wide legal and information service for asylum seekers and refugees.
The service is regulated to IAA Level 3 in Asylum and Protection (N202331531). IAA is an acronym for Immigration Advice Authority.

Please contact us for the location. You do not need to book in advance but if you are coming to the Carlisle drop in from West Cumbria we highly recommend emailing us before coming. Bus fares are reimbursed for asylum seekers living in Cumberland.
For Barrow and other areas of Westmorland and Furness please email chris@pern.org.uk or attend the Barrow drop-in, which runs every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm. Please email hello@pern.org.uk for details, including location.
We have a team of volunteer community interpreters who support the PERN Legal & Info service, but we encourage you to find a friend to interpret for you. Your friend can attend with you or can be available over the phone. If you do not have or do not wish to use a friend please tell us and we will arrange necessary interpreting.
