Penrith and Eden Refugee Network is a grassroots network of local people based on the principles of good neighbourliness, promoting a civil society and a desire to express our common humanity.

Our aims are:

• Awareness-raising, education and campaigning on global and UK refugee and asylum seeker matters.
• Welcoming refugees and asylum seekers by helping them to participate in and belong to the local community.
• Enabling Penrith and Eden to be an inclusive community and to welcome all minority groups and newcomers.
• Fund raising for refugee and asylum related causes
